We’re looking for Licensed P&C Insurance Agents to come on board to this exciting time in our agency’s expansion. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or just getting into the industry, we’ll give you the tools you need to sharpen your skills to help you produce. Our average agent can sell $1 million in premiums per year!

We offer an hourly rate plus substantial commission opportunities. Our targeted average agent compensation is $65K in the first year. Top performers will beat that substantially.

Requirements

  • Valid, current Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License – REQUIRED
  • Experience selling P&C products
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and provide an exceptional customer experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with co-workers from all levels of the organization
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with a sense of urgency
  • Must be able to work on-site at our company located in NW Houston (Near Hollister and 290)

We’re looking for an Insurance Agency Assistant Manager to come on board to this exciting time in our agency’s expansion. The Assistant Manager will work closely with our agency manager and will be responsible for supporting our fast-paced sales team in all aspects of the business. Most importantly, taking a client from prospect to in force and bound. If you’re a confident leader with a proven insurance sales background, we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities

  • Develop a working knowledge of our 35+ carriers in order to effectively manage the execution of our sales process: Running quotes, running loss history, CLUE reports, MVR reports, determining risk placement, and binding policies in-line with underwriting requirements.
  • Facilitating the resolution of any outstanding/pending business due to inspections, payments, and/or documentation.
  • Responding to inquiries from producers and underwriters regarding rating systems, methods, procedures, status of work and reinstatement requests in a prompt and accurate manner.
  • Solid understanding of agency loss ratio in order to properly execute optimal risk placement of policies with the appropriate carrier(s).
  • Train, coach, and manage agents on carrier best practices and product knowledge.
  • Assist in creating a positive, fun, and dynamic atmosphere that is productive and conducive to the Sales Agents being successful.
  • Provide support to Sales Agents by leading team meetings, providing one‐on‐one counseling, writing and facilitating performance evaluations, setting individual and team goals that align with agency targets.

Qualifications

  • Valid, current Texas Property and Casualty Insurance License - REQUIRED
  • Must be able to quickly evaluate accuracy of information and data and successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A team builder, someone who understands that success is dependent upon the performance of the team and not individual team members.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, good judgment and be capable of communicating with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy and excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Proven track record of proactively taking the initiative and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Polished and professional written and verbal communication skills. The ability to read and write English fluently is required.
  • Must demonstrate a desire for continued professional development through continuing education and self-development opportunities.
  • Proficient computer literacy in Microsoft programs including Excel/Word/Outlook and comfortable learning new software systems.
  • General knowledge and work experience of commercial insurance, preferred.
